Yesterday was amazing.  I helped a fellow stylist put together a charity event to benefit our Haitian brothers and sisters.  It was super last minute.  Like everything had to come together within a couple of days to be ready by yesterday.  It was at a bar with silent auction for donated art pieces. I'm pleased to say that with the given situation, we were able to raise about $5000! Ten of my photos got purchased!  One of them even sold for 5x more than the starting bid!  This is monumental b/c my art was part of the monetary contribution, but also b/c this was the first time I had shown my artwork publicly in New York.   Thank you to everyo

why is my gender so full of vindictive catty bitches? if one of us is attractive, then why must the rest of the hens gather and plot against her?  its not her fault she was blessed with good looks.  have you noticed that about women?  its like a natural instinct or something. i'm not really one who acts like that or looks like that...but i'm terribly bothered and quite frankly embarrassed of my gender b/c of this. why are men so good at leading people on???  its some sick game they're playing. i hate hearing them talk about it. when will things get better?
